Inauguration of the 110/20kV Substation Kombinat, Tirana

EnBi Power, in collaboration with Jacobsen Elektro, delivered successfully the 110/20 kV Substation Kombinat, Tirana.

This is a project funded by The World Bank, which is considered as a major step in the improvement of the energy sector in Albania. This investment will supply with electricity approximately 120,000 residents in the Kombinat area. The Substation offers a high technology, reducing the loss of energy from 17% to 5%. The Substation is under control and monitoring through SCADA System.

Level  Voltage: 110/20kV

High voltage primary equipments were supplied by General Electric

Medium voltage equipments were supplied by Schneider Group

Control and Protection release were supplied by SIEMENS

TLC and RTU were supplied by ABB

Power Transformers were supplied by JSB

Enbi Power is carrying on its activity based on the OSH Guidance for the workplace COVID-19

Enbi Power ltd  has taken all measures related to:

  • Place posters that encourage staying home when sick, cough and sneeze etiquette, and hand hygiene at the entrance to the workplace and in other areas where they will be seen.
  • Provide employees with tissues and waste bins lined with a plastic bag so that they can be emptied without contacting the contents.
  • Instruct employees to clean their hands frequently, using an alcohol-based hand sanitiser that contains at least 60-95% alcohol, or to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Provide soap and water and alcohol-based hand rubs in the workplace. Ensure that adequate supplies are maintained. Place hand rubs in multiple locations and in common areas to encourage hand hygiene.
  • Continue routine environmental cleaning and consider additional measures as described later in this document.
  • Brief the employees, contractors and customers that, if COVID-19 starts spreading in your community, anyone with even a mild cough or low-grade fever (37.3 C or more) needs to stay at home. They should also stay home (or work from home) if they have had to take simple medications, such as paracetamol/acetaminophen, ibuprofen or aspirin, which may mask symptoms of infection
  • Any employees who develops flu-like symptoms (i.e. cough, shortness of breath, fever) should go home immediately and contact the public health service.

EnBi Power takes part in the In Buyer- LE2C Milano 2019

EnBi Power, invited from ICE Tirana, takes part in the In Buyer- LE2C (Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster) Event.

The project aims at facilitating cooperation between International Qualified Buyers and Italian companies from Lombardy Region.

EnBi Power had the pleasure to visit some of the production Centers of the possible collaboration companies. Besides having a better understanding of the potential collaborators for the near future, this event brought into EnBi Power’s attention the Clean Energy and Sustainability approach of these companies.

EnBi Power contributed with a 100 trees to the Municipality of Tirana.

EnBi Power ltd  considering its  Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability Policies, contributed  100 “Acer Negudo”  trees to the Municipality of Tirana, part of the “Tirana Forestation” project.

Our staff actively participated in the planting of trees alongside the Lana river near “Brryli” area.

Mr. Edward Strasser from Siemens Austria visited our Multi-functional Service Center

Enbi Power ltd as VAR partner of Siemens Austria was honored to welcome Mr. Edward Strasser EM DG SA&P (“DG PRO“) from Siemens Austria between 19-21 March 2019.

Visit was dedicated mostly in meeting between Enbi & Siemens (Austria and Serbia) focused on different aspects of the cooperation between our companies. Discussion were held regarding the partnership, coordination and improvement in the future.

In addition there were a dedicated visit to the new “Multifunctional Center” of Enbi Power near Tirana 2 SS where the focus was on the electric workshop and electrical laboratory which is an investment made recently.

Also different meeting were organized with the main clients such OST, OSHEE in a three party discussion and presentation of Siemens product and VAR Agreement partnership with Enbi and future investments.

The visit was concluded with a final alignment on how to make the best efforts toward the smooth and close cooperation between Siemens and Enbi.

EnBi Power's Multi-functional Service Center

Since 2018, EnBi Power has started the construction of its multi-functional service centre. This centre will serve as a warehouse for storage purposes of its machineries, equipments and tools. In addition, it will also serve as a centre for assembling the electrical and mechanical components, necessary for our scope of work.

The multi-functional service centre will also include offices, changing rooms and a kitchen area for our employees.

VAR Agreement with General Electrics

Enbi Power ltd was appointed as an authorized VALUE ADDED RESELLER (VAR) in October 2018.

The purpose of this agreement is to promote the sale of Grid Solutions products such as HV Primary Equipment in Albania. Below is a list of projects, which have been supplied GE products based on this agreement:

  • Rehabilitation of 110 kV Plant Rubik SS;
  • Construction of 110 kV Bay Sallmone SS.
